Is Stardoll getting lazy?

I was surfing around Stardoll (like usual) and I spotted some very similar (almost identical items) that are different colors, but have a different price tag. Some users pay stardoll real money to buy some items, but stardoll doesn't design them, they just copy some other ones and change the color.

Take a look:

 Remember the free outfit we got when stardoll reached 123,456,789 members? One of the items was a pair of brown boots, which are very similar to the first picture. The only difference is the color and that they are much more expensive.

Another items I noticed was the RIO silver sequinned sweater (not sold any more) is very very similar to the other sweater the stardoll store sells. The only difference? The SS one is a lighter shade.

The next three skirts are more current. Can you see how they all look the same? Stardoll thinks that just by changing the color they can make a different item and charge more for it!

Now let's take a look at the boots. They are identical, apart from the color. But stardoll charges the yellow ones much more!

The green shorts from Bonjour Bizou are very similar to some free shorts we got some time ago. But why do the green ones cost 30 SC more?

Two tops from Pretty n' love, can toy see how the only difference is the color but stardoll makes u pay 10 SC more for them?

Two bags from Windows on the World. Don't they loook the same? Just because they have different patterns stardoll charges 2 SD more for the turquoise one.

And finally some tops from the stardoll store. I really don't understand why the price changes here. I prefer the red top, which costs less, but that is a matter of opinion. Why does stardoll make us pay more for the yellow one?
