This is a how to page on how to use manual proxies, disinstall toolbars, and taking screenshots. Please request any more in the feedbacks.

How to use manual proxies


Delete all your history by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete, check all the boxes and select 'All' or 'All days' depending on what browser you are using. Make sure you're logged out of Stardoll before setting the manual proxy, otherwise it won't work!


For Firefox:
Go to Tools>Options>Advanced>Choose the tab 'Network'>Settings>Then check the 'Manual Configuration box>Then enter the proxy number.>Hit Ok>Ok

For Internet Explorer and Chrome:
Go to Tools>Internet Options>Choose 'Connections' tab>Click on LAN settings>Check the 'Use A Proxy Server for this Connection' box>Enter the proxy number>Click OK.

For Safari:
Select Preferencs>Advanced>Proxies: Change Settings>Check the Web Proxy (HTTP)>Enter the proxy number>Click Apply

To stop using a manual proxy

For Firefox:
Tools>Options>Advanced>Network>Settings>Check the 'No Proxy' box

For Internet Explorer or Chrome:
Tools>Internet Options>Choose 'Connections' tab>Click LAN settings>Check the 'Automatic Detect Settings' box.

Safari:
Preferences>Advanced>Proxies: Change settings>Uncheck the box>Click Apply




How to disinstall toolbars


If you've downloaded the Stardoll toolbar and now you want to delete it, here's what you do:

For Internet explorer:
In Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs.


For Chrome:
Click On the "Settings" button (wrench icon.. right top.. below close button)

next go to "Tools"

next in the sub menu choose " Extensions " 

disable/uninstall the required Extension or toolbar

For Firefox:
Right click the toolbar and select Uninstall


How to take a screenshot


For Windows:

For Linux:
Follow the same instuctions, but your screenshot will be saved

For a Mac:
Click these together



Then either right click and press paste
