Hello my dear readers,
Do you ever wonder how people make such amazing graphics on stardoll? Well, here's a quick tutorial on how to make a head shot graphic for your medoll, which then you can use for banners or adverstisement or whatever you want. This is the first tutorial (of five) on how to make shadows, (or how not to make your medoll's face look flat, you don't notice it much) the shadows look best with all the rest of the make-up on too. I was going to make it all in one, but I realised it took too long, so now it's a seriers of five (stick around to see the next tutorials).
I'm using GIMP (a photoshop alternative) but I'm sure you can find similar steps on photoshop.
I'm assuming you know how to take a screenshot (if not look at the how to page by clicking
here and scrolling down) and how to cut out the background of your medoll.
